GUIDE · UPDATED JULY 2026

How much does an Odoo implementation cost in 2026?

By the Impromatrix consulting team – Odoo since 2020, ERP since 2011

Anyone quoting a price before seeing your processes is guessing. But ranges are honest: here's what real projects cost in 2026, what moves the number up or down, and where companies overspend.

Add hosting (≈900–2,600 €/year on a cloud VPS for most SMEs) and, on Enterprise only, licences of 29.90–37.40 € per user per month. Implementation effort is the same for both editions – see the edition cost comparison.

What drives the price most?

In order: custom development, integrations to other systems, the state of your data, module count, and training scope. User count barely moves implementation cost. The cheapest requirement is the one you drop – a good partner's first job is talking you out of customisations that standard workflows already solve.

What are hourly rates in 2026?

Western-European agencies: roughly 90–150 €/hour. Central-European teams with identical certifications: 60–100 €/hour. We work from Bratislava at Central-European rates for clients across the EU – same Odoo, same OCA, lower burn rate.

Where do companies overspend?

Three places: rebuilding their old system's quirks inside Odoo instead of adopting standard flows; migrating ten years of dirty historical data nobody will query; and big-bang scopes where phase two would have been cheaper after six months of real usage. All three are scope decisions, not technology costs.

What does the budget NOT include?

Your team's time – key users spend real hours in workshops, testing and data cleaning; plan for it or the project slips. And ongoing support: budget roughly 15–20% of implementation cost per year for changes, questions and small improvements.

Can a 6-week project really work?

Yes – with a fixed scope and the discipline to defer everything else. Here's a 12-user consultancy that went live in six weeks →
